We are still treated to updates on William’s personal life and it was lovely to see his relationship with Beth grow and to follow them on the next steps in their lives. I felt like I had as much riding on the arrest of Rashidi as the detectives did. The book is still about William’s career but I thought that there was a little more focus on the investigation in this one and I really got hooked into the case.
